Me: brain MRI
Well, the hip was much improved by the time I went to bed last night. It was much worse this morning. And it was a lot worse after I got into my car. [EDIT: Drove it to the T station and took the T to work, which was at least three mistakes.]

Had to take a taxi to tonight’s Poly Boston dinner (which was lovely; I treated the haze of pain I was in with a haze of wine) and from there to plumtreeblossom’s place, but I’m done having to move very far for a while. And with some luck, I’ll be able to walk tomorrow, and without some luck, at least I have a doctor’s appointment scheduled for Thursday.

I'm sorry you're in such pain. Is there anything I can do to help you out?

Thank you! Nothing that I can think of that doesn’t involve a car, alas. plumtreeblossom’s taking good care of me and if it’s not at least somewhat improved by tomorrow I’ll go to Urgent Care.

I'm glad you've got her with you tonight. Was this injury entirely from shoveling or had you hurt yourself before that too?

This is just something my hips do every now and then, but made worse by shovelling. Usually it doesn’t have any particular cause I can identify.

Oh dear, I hope you feel better soon. :-/

Thank you! One of Tallulah’s medicines is helping.

This is No Good. How can I help?

Thanks! My hip was still bad this morning, but it’s been steadily improving over the course of the day, and I don't think I need help any more. Yesterday I was really wishing I had my crutches (took the cane rather than the crutches yesterday morning; then hurt myself worse getting into the car and didn’t realize how bad it was until I got out at the T station), but at this point I think I’m fine. Thank you, though!
