beetiger, who was probably my best friend in college and whom I owe an awful lot to, her husband bard_bloom, and their 2½-year-old son projectmothra, who is already reading and is extremely sweet and fun, at least when he’s trying to impress a new friend. No time to do it justice, but we got to see some birds of prey and do lots of reading.(2) The furniture in my bedroom is finally in the configuration I want it in! I still have a lot of work to do to get it looking civilized, but it looks a lot better. Yay! Now to vaguely start thinking about the rest of the house...
