YAY!!!! I have never worn toe socks. I am going to have to try them--I have heard folks rage about how fabulous they are!

I got them from Sock Dreams. This pair are here, but they have a large selection, including lots of stripey ones. I would have liked some over-the-knee ones (as well, not instead), but I didn’t see any I thought would be reliably large enough.

Yea, I have heard from several folks that the Toe-Toe are the best of the best. They make knee-highs, too, which are probably the ones I will go with.

In their quick-search list they do have a page of "plus-sized" options. And their customer service folks are VERY helpful--I have emailed them asking for some specifics and gotten a nice long list of possibilities.

What do folks like about them?

I would worry that my toes would get cold being separated from each other.

I had a couple of pairs. I found them uncomfortable, it's like feeling something between your toes all day long. And, well, you're right, it's fabric between your toes! Also, my toes are I guess "irregular" sized, so some of my toes were too long for the digit in the sock, thus causing the "web" effect. I think if they made toe socks that were just the big toe and sort of "mitten" the others, that might work best for me.

But these purple ones are way wow! Your feet look like an ogre's! (in only a friendly ogre way, that is)

I have heard that they help restore chronically squished toes to their more natural position, and that once folks get used to them people find them exceptionally comfortable. I have not yet tried them because I have always imagined that, like [info]koshmon said, the fabric between my toes would drive me nuts. But every time I hear about them, the closer I get to giving them a try.

Wow, looks like you've got some nasty poor circulation in your legs. Might want to see a doctor about that.

You look like you've got a SERIOUS disease! Or like you've just joined Blue Man Group. :-)
