I saw like five little violet blossoms in my little patch, outside, just yesterday! :) Which I think it awfully unfair, given that you planted yours weeks after I did and have already had flowers for so long, but that's okay. ;)

SQUEEEEEE! I'm in love with Coreopsis (Coreopses?). Those are such beautiful photos, sweetie. I have to take pictures of mine today. :-)

Nice work on the wildflowers. We have a few of those
'round here, and they really brighten things up.
Some time soon we should have some Big Bluestem seeds
from brother George, if you have a place for a tall
specimen?

I had to look up what Big Bluestem was. I already have enough trouble mowing the grass! Although I suppose if I had Big Bluestem on my lawn, I could mow it with a machete, and I wouldn’t have to bend over. :-) Might have to worry about being buried, though.

You know, I'd just been reading some material that really kind of pissed me off, and then I came back to my friends page and saw this blossom, and it really, really helped, not just because it's a beautiful bloom, but because it reminded me that there are people around -- like you -- who are generally kind, thougtful, and positive, instead of mean, sarcastic, and negative, and it just really helped.

I mean, I know I don't know you that well and this is kind of random, but just, thanks for being so consistently not-jerky.

Oh, thank you! That makes me feel really good. I guess I’ll stick with what I’ve been doing a while longer; I can’t quite get the delivery down right on “You damn kids get off my lawn!” :-)
