My current default picture (looking down, lower-left corner of picture in shadow) is cropped from one of these pictures. I was looking down with a friend at a picture one of us had just taken (on the screen of the camera), and our other friend snapped a picture of us looking at a picture we had taken. My current-favourite picture is the one I used on this post (and this reply), and it was taken by the same person. I was at the butterfly exhibit at the Museum of Science. I think that was when I was looking at a case that showed the developmental stages of various species of butterflies; it had live chrysales (chrysalises? chrysalisses?) of various ages, some with butterflies starting to come out, and a few freshly-emerged butterflies (the youngest one still drying its wings).
