There are a handful of people on my friends list whom I tend to learn important, interesting things about myself from reading. [info]eisa is one of them. ([info]wispfox and [info]ladytabitha also come to mind.) [info]eisa is intelligent and eloquent and self-aware and observant (of herself and of others). And she tells wonderful stories. I admire her honesty and her directness and her cluefulness and her judgment.

I haven’t known [info]eisa for very long, but I trust her on a pretty basic level. Trust is a peculiar word: You can trust somebody to behave in a particular way, or to be kind, or to be honest, or to be reliable. I trust [info]eisa in lots of ways, but there’s a particular one that matters to me but that I find hard to put quite into words. It’s close to trusting her judgment and her values and her thought processes, but it’s not quite that. I think she’s a deeply honourable person, and that’s part of it too, but again, not quite the whole.

And she’s also interesting. She’s a great conversationalist with wide-ranging interests. She’s cuddly. She’s introduced me to good music and interesting writing, and I imagine she’ll introduce me to more in the future. She’s fun to be around. She’s adventuresome. I find her very attractive, not just to look at (although definitely that), but also in the way she carries herself and talks and interacts with people. I look forward to dancing with her sometime. (In general, I need to do more contra dancing; whosoever readeth these words should remind me of that.)

She’s also introduced me to some wonderful people (which should be no surprise, since she was introduced to me by a wonderful person). I’m particularly thinking of [info]ratatosk; I think I actually met him before I met her, but certainly I’m getting to know him better now, and he’s just the sort of nifty, fascinating, intellectual person you would absolutely expect to have the good taste to be connected to [info]eisa.

[info]eisa’s Puppy Monster is a sweetie!

I could probably go on for several more paragraphs if I put my mind to it, but I think I've made my case: [info]eisa rocks, and I'm really glad to know her.
